Chancellor's Circle Business Symposium Slated Sept. 20

Community members interested in learning more about the current and future state of the Santa Clarita Valley’s commercial and real estate markets -- and what that means for local business owners -- should make plans to attend the College of the Canyons Chancellor’s Circle 5th Annual Business Symposium.

Featuring an exciting lineup of guest speakers, this year’s Business Symposium event will provide attendees with valuable tips and information about how local businesses can better position themselves to respond to both positive and negative changes in the real estate marketplace.

In addition, a local forecast pertaining to the SCV commercial and residential real estate markets and how they will in turn affect the state’s ongoing economic recovery will also be discussed.

“As the regional economy continues to create new opportunities for growth and development, we are pleased to host this informative event and provide local businesses with the knowledge and insight needed to move forward,” said College of the Canyons Chancellor Dr. Dianne Van Hook.

The 5th Annual Chancellor’s Circle Business Symposium will take place from 7:30 to 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 20, in the Dr. Dianne G. Van Hook University Center, Room 258, located on the college’s Valencia campus.

Breakfast will be served beginning at 7:30 a.m. followed by the main presentation at 8 a.m. The lineup of scheduled speakers and presentation topics for the morning includes:

Kimberley Ritter-Martinez, Economist, Los Angeles Economic Development Corp.
The Impact of Real Estate Trends and Expectations for the Future

Commercial Real Estate -- Update on SCV commercial real estate market
