KEVIN JENKINS: Department Chair & Professor of Graphic Design

Professor Kevin Jenkins earned his MFA from the University of California‚ Irvine and his BFA from California College of the Arts in San Francisco. He has worked as a graphic designer and artist in the Los Angeles area for the past 14 years and brings a hands–on knowledge to the graphic and multimedia design programs that’s hard to beat.


MARK DAYBELL: Professor of Multimedia

Professor Mark Daybell earned a MFA from CSU Fullerton and BS from California Polytechnic State University‚ San Luis Obispo. Over his 20–year career in the arts‚ he has exhibited his videos‚ photography‚ installations and films at museums‚ galleries‚ film festivals and alternative art venues. As a professor‚ Mark guides students in the processes of finding an artistic voice and instructs them on creating a portfolio to reflect that vision.

LIN WILDE: Adjunct Instructor of Multimedia

Lin Wilde earned his BFA in Digital Media from Otis College of Art & Design. He has been a staff artist and postproduction expert at Blind since 2003. Lin has worked on hundreds of commercials for major companies‚ including Google‚ Microsoft‚ Audi and Nike. He has worked on promos for Showtime‚ Discovery‚ ABC‚ Spike and Fox Sports. Lin is also an active member of The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (The Emmys).

NICK PAVIK: Adjunct Instructor of Graphic Design

Nick Pavik earned a BFA from Art Center College of Design‚ Pasadena and has been an art director for the Santa Clarita Community College District for the past 14 years. Nick is an avid supporter of community colleges and the important role they play in artistic self–discovery.

SHANNON LOSORELLI–DORONIO: Adjunct Instructor of Graphic Design

Shannon is a partner at Parallel-Play‚ a multi-disciplinary design studio in northern Los Angeles. She has designed and developed annual reports for both 826LA and 826National‚ Edward Kienholz and Frederick Hammersley exhibition catalogs for LA Louver‚ A Ring of Sunshine Around the Moon book for the Echo Park Time Travel Mart‚ and Beard‚ a book of photographs from the World Beard and Moustache Championships by Matthew Rainwaters for Chronicle Books.

MARK FLANDERS: Adjunct Instructor of Graphic Design & Multimedia

Mark Flanders received his Bachelors of Science Degree from the University of Wisconsin–Stout before going on to graduate Magna Cum Laude with a MFA from California State University‚ Long Beach. Additionally‚ he studied both art and art history at Ealing College in England. Mark specializes in multimedia‚ traditional and non–traditional photography and bricolage. He has been a creative consultant and enjoys a rich and varied career as artist and instructor.

NANO HAYKANUSH HOVSEPYAN: Adjunct Instructor of Multimedia

Nano Hovsepyan is a lead web and graphic designer at Nanodesign Studio. She is an instructor at the Art Institute, Fremont College, Columbus College and College of the Canyons. Nano graduated with a BA degree from Terlemezyan Art College in Armenia in 1988. She earned her MA in Fine Art and Art History from Abovyan University in Armenia. After moving to the U.S., Nano earned a BA degree in Graphic Design from Art institute of California, Hollywood. She went on to earn a MA in Educational Leadership from Argosy University. She is a freelance designer and a fine artist. She has received several awards for outstanding work and achievements in design and educational fields.
