HOW MANY SEATS ARE THERE?

Both the main proscenium stage theater and Black Box Theater have seating that can be affected by configuration and technical requirements of individual events. Generally, the main theater can seat 886 people, while the Black Box can seat about 100.

DOES THE CENTER ACCOMMODATE PERSONS WITH ACCESSIBILITY REQUIREMENTS?

MAY I SEE A SEATING CHART?

The seating chart depicts the general seating arrangement of the orchestra and balcony. Not all seats will be available for all shows. Wheelchair seats are designated. Seating Chart

HOW DO I PURCHASE TICKETS?

You can purchase tickets online, in advance, in-person at the Box Office, or at the door if tickets are available. Visa and MasterCard are accepted. Community arts groups may have different ticketing requirements and options.

DO YOU HAVE GROUP RATES?

WHERE DO I PARK, AND WHAT IS THE COST?

Parking is free for most events. College of the Canyons has ample parking in its student parking lots. Being a busy college campus, some daytime events may encounter parking difficulties, but look for signs directing you to event parking. Valet parking will be available for some events. IS THERE A SMOKING POLICY?

Smoking is prohibited at the Performing Arts Center, and the college campus is a smoke-free zone, with smoking restricted to designated areas of the parking lots.

CAN I BRING MY OWN FOOD OR DRINKS?

No food or drink is allowed in the Performing Arts Center. A concession stand is located in the main lobby, and all food and drink must be disposed of before entering the theaters. "COC Presents" shows generally have additional food and beverage concessions.

CAN I PHOTOGRAPH OR RECORD PERFORMANCES?

No. Taking still or video pictures and/or using any audio-recording device are strictly prohibited. Any patron who brings a camera or recording equipment into the theater will be asked to leave it with the house manager, to be returned to the patron at the conclusion of the event.

WHAT IF I ARRIVE LATE FOR A PERFORMANCE?

If you arrive late, you’ll be seated at the discretion of the house manager to cause the least amount of disruption to the performance and other patrons. You might not be seated in your assigned seats until intermission.

MAY I BRING CHILDREN TO PERFORMANCES?

We welcome family attendance at the Performing Arts Center, although some shows may have restrictions because of age-inappropriate content. If this is the case, a notation will be displayed on the event page of this site. Otherwise, children 2 and older will require a ticket for entrance. Strollers and baby seats are not allowed in the theaters. Only you can decide whether a performance is suitable for your child. We also ask you take into consideration whether a child can sit quietly without disturbing other members of the audience.

IS THERE A CELL PHONE POLICY?

The ringing of a cell phone can be distracting for both the audience and the performers. If you bring a cell phone, we ask that you turn it off or put it in silent mode before the performance begins. If you use your cell phone during intermission, please remember to turn it off or silence it before re-entering the theater.

IS THERE A DRESS CODE?

While it's difficult to enforce a dress code, we believe that dressing appropriately and acting responsibly show respect for the performers, theater workers and everyone who is working hard to bring high-quality entertainment to our community. The house manager reserves the right to deny entry to anyone who may be wearing clothing or acting in a manner disruptive to patrons or performers.

CAN THE PERFORMING ARTS CENTER BE RENTED?

COMMON SUBSCRIPTION QUESTIONS

How do I know that the Box Office received my subscription order?

Your canceled check or credit card statement will be your receipt of payment and proof that your order has been processed.

May I make a specific seating request?

We welcome any specific seating request but cannot guarantee that the requests can be fulfilled at the time of purchase. The ability to fulfill your request depends on seating availability at time of processing.

How are series subscriptions seating assignments determined?

Seating assignments are based on the following criteria:

• LEVEL OF DONORSHIP: The cost of a ticket does not cover the full cost of presenting a performance. Contributions are deeply appreciated and at certain levels carry a privilege of priority seating. More

• DATE ORDER RECEIVED IN BOX OFFICE: Order your subscription as early as possible.

• PRIOR SUBSCRIPTION HISTORY: We appreciate your continued patronage as a subscription ticket holder. Your continued support will place you ahead of new subscription ticket buyers.
